Survey Methodology, Big data, passive mobile data collection, data quality in establishment surveys


Georg-Christoph Haas studied Sociology (Diplom) from 2009 to 2015 at TU Dresden. He wrote his diploma thesis at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg on "Estimating the Measurement Error in Survey Data which Occurs by Asking the Administrative Data Linkage Question".

Since October 2015 Georg-Christoph Haas is a research associate at the IAB Statistical Methods Centre, where he contributes in the project “Quality in Esablishment Surveys” (QuEst) and “Mobile Device Measures” (MoDeM). In parallel he is employed at the SFB 884, where he contributes to the project A9 “Survey mode, survey technology and technology innovations in data collection"
